Typical business advice says to release one project at a time and make sure it’s aligned to your core business. Ok, yeah, whatever… I don’t like to hold things back when they’re ready to go, so today I’m releasing 2 new projects that I’ve been working on. First up is my new single, “Kissing in…
For a long time now I’ve been pondering podcast themes. I didn’t want to do some random “comedy podcast” because most of them are terrible. I wanted to do a show on a subject that appeals to me and would have an audience interested in it. A couple weeks ago, the fates (and NBC) intervened…

Ok, so I missed last week’s episode because I wasn’t prepared. In this week’s episode I talk about why that was, and then I look grim and scary during one song. And then I sing a song with a word in it that I’ve never heard before. You can watch and chat live every Monday…
Here’s this week’s episode of Phil’s Fast 15, my Monday night live broadcast featuring a variety of tunes dug out of my vault. It’s a military grade vault made of platinum and I often go swim in my songs like Scrooge McDuck. This episode features the songs “Judgment Day” and “Hillbilly Love” from the album…
Here’s episode 7 “The Eb Chord Strikes Back” of Phil’s Fast 15… My weekly Monday night online show at 8pm PST. Join me live on Mondays nights right here. This week I pulled out “Blue Collar Anthem“, a song I rarely play because it’s sad and it hurts (physically). You’ll also hear a dirty little…

Here’s last night’s Episode 3 (Revenge of the Phil) of Phil’s Fast 15. This episode includes the songs “Share My Pixie Dust”, “LCW”, and “Way Down Yonder In New Orleans”. Better lighting than last week since I remembered to turn the lights on. 🙂 The video is less jerky, but still fuzzy. Getting it worked…
I totally forgot to post this last week as I was running around prepping to leave town again. Anyway… Here’s episode #2. Includes the songs “A Little Boy In Love”, “Happiest Place On Earth”, and “Baby Won’t You Please Come Home”. You can watch live every Monday at 8pm PST at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/phil-johnson-and-roadside-attraction
One of the things I learned in from my recent survey results is that people have trouble getting to shows either because of the time and hassle involved with getting there, or that there just aren’t any shows coming to their town. So as promised, I’m starting a weekly 15-minute live streaming concert series called…
